Amazon Agreement 42.10

You agree that you have determined that your use of the BYOL Program complies with applicable Microsoft licensing requirements. Use of the Services that violates your agreement(s) with Microsoft is not authorized or permitted. Just recently, AWS updated its terms of service and now, as usual. What you can and can`t do, but what`s funny is point 42.10, which briefly states that they prohibit the use of their Lumberyard services in the event of a zombie apocalypse. While this definition is useful in the analysis, this ”extrinsic material” would, strictly speaking, be inadmissible in court. We note that the rule on proof of parole would apply because this definition complements the term by further restricting the type of zombie, Goss v Lloyd Nugent (1833) 5 B&D 58. That said, loss of self-confidence is not part of this deal and Murphey like zombies can still lead to an authorized zombie apocalypse. 45.10. AWS and its affiliates will process all personal information about your personnel (”Personnel”) provided to AWS or its affiliates as part of a Statement of Work in accordance with the processing practices described in the AWS Privacy Statement (available at aws.amazon.com/privacy/). You make the AWS Privacy Statement available to all employees whose personal information you provide to AWS or its affiliates.

70.1. AWS IQ Experts (”Suppliers”) offer their services (”Supplier Services”) as independent contractors and are not employees of you or us. AWS is not a party to the agreement between you and a provider for their provider services, is not responsible for the provider`s services, and does not guarantee the quality or accuracy of the provider`s services. For the avoidance of doubt, any certification a Supplier receives from us will only certify that Supplier has passed a test designed to assess Provider`s capabilities and understanding of a particular AWS service or area of knowledge to which such Certification relates, and does not guarantee that: that Provider`s services are performed at a certain level of quality. Speed or according to your specific needs. Overall, however, this acceptable use clause does not apply to specific scenarios during the zombie apocalypse. Care must also be taken to ensure that Lumberyard materials are only used during a zombie apocalypse authorized under clause 42.10 (an authorized zombie apocalypse). Of course, infections fall into several categories, but section 42.10 is specific. In order to use Lumberjack materials, the pathogenic cause of the zombie apocalypse must be viral. Bacterial or fungal pathogens do not lead to acceptable use. The following Terms of Use govern your use of the Services. Capitalized terms used in these Terms of Use, but not defined below, are defined in the AWS Customer Agreement or any other agreement with us that governs your use of the Services (the ”Agreement”).

For the purposes of these Terms of Use, ”Your Content” includes all ”Company Content” and all ”Customer Content,” and ”AWS Content” includes ”Amazon Properties.” You must be authorized to use the BYOL program for the appropriate Microsoft software in accordance with your agreements with Microsoft. You are solely responsible for obtaining all required licenses and complying with all applicable Microsoft license requirements, including product usage rights/product terms. By using Microsoft software as part of the BYOL program, you agree to the Microsoft End User License Agreement. 1.7. If your Agreement does not contain any provisions on AWS Confidential Information and you and AWS have not entered into an effective non-disclosure agreement, you agree not to disclose any AWS Confidential Information (as defined in the AWS Customer Agreement) except as required by law. Almost all software and hardware comes with extensive mandatory agreements that you must follow to use them, so these rules are understandable and probably for the better. At the same time, you should also know that some of these rules will disappear completely in case of a zombie apocalypse, if this never happens (hopefully). 26.8. Microsoft BYOL Licenses.

Under this option, you can use Amazon WorkSpaces to deploy WorkSpaces with your Microsoft software and licenses (the ”BYOL WorkSpaces Program”). You must be authorized to use the WorkSpaces BYOL program for applicable Microsoft software under your agreement(s) with Microsoft. You are solely responsible for obtaining all required licenses and complying with all applicable Microsoft license requirements, including product usage rights/product terms. In addition, you must have accepted the Microsoft End User License Agreement (Microsoft EULA) and, by using Microsoft software as part of the WORKSpaces BYOL program, you agree to the Microsoft EULA. You agree that you have determined that your use of the WorkSpaces BYOL program complies with applicable Microsoft licensing requirements. Use of the Services that violates your agreement(s) with Microsoft is not authorized or permitted. 42.10. Acceptable Use; Safety-critical systems. Your use of lumberyard Materials must comply with the AWS Acceptable Use Policy. Lumberyard materials are not intended for use with life- or safety-critical systems, e.B. for the operation of medical devices, automated transportation systems, autonomous vehicles, aircraft or air traffic control, nuclear facilities, manned spacecraft, or military applications related to live combat.

However, this restriction does not apply in the case of the appearance (certified by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control or its successor organization) of a generalized viral infection transmitted by bites or contact with bodily fluids that causes resuscitation of human corpses and attempts to consume flesh, blood, of the living human brain or nerve tissue, and which is likely to lead to the fall of organized civilization. . . .
